This is why I'm deciding to ask the experts first before finding parts for a new system. I even put a bigger PSU in just in case, but it didn't make any difference. But I am now using just one of it's outputs and it's a step up form the on-board VGA output for clarity, but that's about it, just a shame I can't use the second output reliably. I like Linux Mint as it's relatively bloatware-free, relieving performance for what you want it to do ( apart from my recent issue with Caja: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=252179), but would consider changing to another distro if anyone thought it would be better for my application. so I have no idea which avenue to go down, and thought I'd ask which is the most hassle-free, and best performance for Mint, especially if I'm wanting to run 3 monitors.
